Investment Castings

Investment casting is a process (also known as the lost wax process), where wax is injected into an aluminum die to produce a pattern that is an exact replica of the part to be produced. This method is similar to diecasting, but with wax used instead of molten metal.

Materials Produced

Stainless Steel (CF8M, CF8, CF3M AND OTHERS) TO ASTM SPECS.

Carbon Steel (WCB, LCB etc…) to ASTM specs.

Full material certs available upon request.

Machining of Castings

Metal finishing including black phosphate and passivation.

Castings supplied fully machined.
